Torah Cantillation – How to Become a Confident Torah Reader

BETH EL ADULT EDUCATION CLASSES CONTINUE IN FEBRUARY!
Rabbi Lipton will be offering a new Adult Education class beginning in February as part of Beth El’s ongoing Ba’al Tefillah Institute:  “Torah Cantillation – How to Become a Confident Torah Reader.”  This course will provide an opportunity for adult learners to engage with our tradition while honing a new synagogue skill.  Weekly, one-hour classes will begin on Wednesday evening, February 14th @ 7:00 PM, and will continue through April 17th.  During this nine-week course, Rabbi Lipton will guide students in the traditional chanting of the Torah for Shabbat, Weekdays, and Festivals with the support of printed and recorded materials.  Free for Beth El members; $180 for non-members.  Please contact the office for additional information.
