COVID-19 Vaccine card
As a community, the members of Beth El Congregation have followed the scientific mandates driven by COVID-19 when conducting services. Since last December, the rise of the Omicron variant led us again to temporarily halt in-person services and then to require the mandatory use of masks during services.
Currently, incidences of COVID are on a sharp national and local decline, and Summit County is now at a low risk level, according to the CDC, of contracting the virus. Taking this into account, the Beth El Board of Directors, at the suggestion of the COVID Committee, has decided to suspend its mandatory mask mandate during services and instead make the wearing of masks optional for shul-goers.
Congregants must be up-to-date on their vaccinations and have their booster shot to attend services in-person. Services will also continue to be streamed via Zoom for those who wish to participate from home. Those who feel more comfortable wearing masks during services, for health or safety reasons, are certainly encouraged to continue to do so.
The serving of food at Beth El services and other events, including both Kiddush on Shabbat morning and after Friday morning Minyan, will be implemented after the Passover holiday.
We will continue to monitor this fluid situation and make further assessments as conditions warrant. But for now, we again look forward to making masks optional and not a requirement at services as part of our welcoming Jewish community.
If you are RSVPing for a service the day before it occurs, we advise you to bring your vaccination card with you when you come for services. We will not receive it digitally in time.

It operates on the four dimensions of kabbalistic reality simultaneously: space, time, human, and Divine. This session will show how all four axes coincide to crack the meaning of the refrain and the nine stanzas of Lekhah Dodi. --------------------- Series #8: Israel - Models of Resilience
