 pton will be offering a new Adult Education class beginning in February as
  part of Beth El’s ongoing Ba’al Tefillah Institute:  “Torah Cantil
 lation – How to Become a Confident TorahReader.”  This course will pr
 ovide an opportunity for adult learners to engage with our tradition while
  honing a new synagogue skill.  Weekly\, one-hour classes will begin on W
 ednesday evening\, February 14th @ 7:00 PM\, and will continue through Apr
 il 17th.  During this nine-week course\, Rabbi Lipton will guide students
  in the traditional chanting of the Torah for Shabbat\, Weekdays\, and Fes
 tivals with the support of printed and recorded materials.  Free for Beth
  El members\; $180 for non-members.  Please contact the office for additi
