SUMMARY:Hanukkah Babayit
DESCRIPTION:This year Hanukkah falls very late on the calendar\, starting t
 he evening of December 25th. Because of this late date\, we have planned a
 n alternative way for our congregation to celebrate the holiday together. 
 Many of you might remember when we had a program called\, Shabbat Babayit 
 (Shabbat in the Home)\, when people hosted other congregants in their home
  for Shabbat dinner\, in a potluck style. This year\, on  Saturday\, Dece
 mber 28\, we will have Hanukkah Babayit! The event will start at 6 pm and 
 include a potluck dairy/veggie dinner at each host family home. The synago
 gue will provide latkes to the host families to add to the delicious meal.
  After dinner there will be a short Havdalah ceremony marking the end of S
 habbat followed by Hanukkah candle lighting. Please sign up to either be a
  host or to attend. We will group people together so you are with both old
  and new friends\, as we celebrate the fourth night of Hanukkah together.
