Rabbi Lipton will be offering a series of new Adult Education classes beginning this month. These courses will provide Beth El community members multiple opportunities to engage with our traditions and/or acquire new synagogue skills. Classes will include courses from our new Beth El Ba’al Tefillah Institute as well as those from our new Beth El Lehrhaus.
The Beth El Ba’al Tefillah Institute will offer classes that provide adult learners with practical synagogue skills. The Institute’s initial class will be Weekday Shacharit – How to Lead the Weekday Morning Service. This weekly, 30-minute class will begin on Wednesday, February 9 @8:15 AM, immediately after Wednesday morning Minyan. Rabbi Lipton will incrementally guide adult students through the traditional liturgy and nusach (musical chanting) of Weekday Shacharit with the support of printed and recorded materials.
