Purim 2007-March 3rd and 4th

February 11, 2007

You will not want to miss our Beth El Purim experience.
This year Purim will be a weekend of fun for the entire mishpacha.

Our celebration will begin on Saturday night, March 3rd at 7:00 PM with an ‘adults only’ program of the reading of the megillah at the home of Randy and Bonnie Cohen, 718 Pine Pointe Road. After our ‘creative’ reading the fun really begins with games, food and, of course, drink. Spend time playing blackjack and roulette or share your voice with everyone with karaoke MC’ed by ‘Miss Judy’.
Please RSVP to Rabbi Grundfast at 330.864.2105 ×114 or send an e-mail to sgrundfast@yahoo.com

The second half of our Purim celebration will take place the next morning, Sunday, March 4th beginning at 10:00 AM with the reading of the megillah by Beth El children and adults. Rabbi Grundfast challenges everyone to bring his or her most creative and loudest noisemaker to ‘bring down’ the Beth El roof’.
This year’s theme is “CRAZY SHOES” and prizes will be awarded for the largest, smallest, most colorful, most creative and most outlandish shoes.

After the reading of the megillah there will be a wonderful Purim Carnival for all our youngsters and lunch aided by this year’s Confirmation Class as their tzedakah project. There will be a hotdog lunch and, of course, a mountain of Hamantashen. There will be a nominal charge for the carnival games and food.

WE HOPE TO SEE YOU AT THIS PURIM FUN WEEKEND!!!
