On behalf of Beth El Congregation, Rabbi Stephen Grundfast presented a CD-ROM version of the Encyclopedia Judaica to the library of the new Resnik Community Learning Center. The gift is in memory of astronaut Judith Resnik, for whom the school is named and who was a member of and educated at Beth El.

Dr. Taon Dang-Nguyen, principal of the school, accepted the gift. Attending the presentation were Judith’s brother, Dr. Charles Resnik of Baltimore, his wife Amy and daughter Jenna, who is named for Judith; Judith’s cousin, Helene Norin of Akron, and her grandchildren, Tyler and Miranda Norin, who both attend school there.

Also in the library for the presentation were the school’s third graders, their teachers, and the librarian. The children were delighted to sing songs for their guests. The guests also enjoyed a tour of the new school.
